La misión de la sonda Chang'e-5 T1, que tenía por objetivo ensayar tecnologías para futuros proyectos de recogida de muestras, duró ocho días y, tal y como estaba previsto, regresó el sábado a Mongolia, al norte de China.
La sonda Chang'e 5 T1 fue lanzada el 23 de octubre 2014 y ha recorrido en total 840.000 kilómetros.

China launched an experimental spacecraft to fly around the moon and back to Earth on Friday. This is part of the preparation for the country's first unmanned return trip to the surface of moon.
This eight-day program is a
test run for a mission to be launched in 2017 which aims to send a
Chinese spacecraft to land on the moon, bring samples and return to
Earth. That would make China only the third country after the United
States and Russia, which carried such missions earlier. China's lunar
exploration program is named Chang'e, after a mythical goddess. China
has already launched two orbiting lunar probes and last year landed a
craft on the moon with a rover onboard, but none of those missions were
programmed to return to Earth.
The experimental spacecraft lifted off from the southwestern Xichang satellite launch centre early in the morning of Friday. It separated from its carrier rocket and entered Earth orbit shortly after, said the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence.
