Next time you're in a restaurant watch out for the drones
TGI Friday's launches Mistletoe Drones to encourage diners to 'come together'
Be warned. Next time you're in TGI Friday's you might want to make sure you're not sitting next to your boss...or your sister.
The restaurant chain decided to fly drones carrying mistletoe around one of their Manchester restaurants in order to encourage diners to "come together", as the humorous video shows.
TGI Fridays is piloting the slightly ludicrous scheme at its Royal Exchange venue in Manchester city centre before rolling it out to selected branches across the country. If anything it will certainly be a good ice breaker for the office party!
The drones will fly sprigs of mistletoe over people while they are eating and capture any romantic moments that happen beneath them on an in-built kiss cam (so you really can't forget about snogging your colleague at the Christmas party).
We're not quite sure what they're going to do with those clips afterwards...
